    My wife and I happened to be walking past and decided to stop in as we were both hungry.  We got the gyro plate. I have to say it was the best gyro plate I have ever had. The meat was super good, there was a large portion side so that my wife and I easily split it and didn’t need anything else.

    As a bonus, the guy running the place was incredibly nice and turned our food around very quickly.

    I will definitely be back.

    I hardly ever write reviews, but I felt moved to make an exception. The food was fantastic, the hummus is absolutely amazing. And the service is impeccable. The owner is SO nice, and you can tell he really cares about the food he prepares for you. This was an excellent experience. Don’t pass this place up!

    I usually read lots of reviews, but I don’t write them but this experience really motivated me to share it with you guys.

    Last weekend, I stopped by Deli Shez cafe when I saw the gyro skewer spinning, I said I’ll have one I haven’t been reminded by back home food for a while… The guy behind the counter greeted me very nicely while he was cooking some falafel balls (man!! they smelled good…), so yeah… I changed my mind I said; “falafel it is”. Thank god they had 2 sizes I was hungry, so I ordered the 12 inches sandwich… Everything was prepared fresh in front of me, at that moment; I knew it is going to be good . The sandwich was “HUMONGOUS” finished with a very tasty tahiny sauce that made the sandwich out of this word. I really got treated there and since then I have been craving it again and again. I think I will have one today too LOL…

    Tasty Mediterranean Food in Seattle!
    I have been a frequenter of Deli Shez since it opened. I have always received friendly and quick customer service. But what I like most about Deli Shez is the excellent mediterranean food at VERY good prices. You can’t beat the quality, taste and affordability in downtown Seattle. The location is convenient and there is a lot of street parking. People need to check it out and try a yummy gyro!

    Best Cafe in Belltown Seattle
    Have you ever been to a restaurant that serves your food in less than one minute? I doubt it! Unless you are rolling through a late-night drive-thru of course. Girl in front take order and the guy behind her listening, and BAM! Food is served right on your tray, right at the counter. ALWAYS. #1 best thing. The service. A quick grab, perfect for lunch breaks.

    #2 best thing is the HUMMUS. Hummus that is smooth, creamy, subtle in flavor with the right amount of olive oil ….w/ a lil’ bit of parsley ..most likely because they added way too much tahini sauce. *CRINGE*

    So Gyros here is the best! Best I’ve ever had in any restaurant, they add to it too many flavours, like tsatsiki, tomato, lettuce, onion and feta cheese with super warm and panini pita .

    Third best thing, the Baklava , super tasty and sweet and I didn’t beleive it’s only 1.99 for a huge piece while other mediterrenean places sell it between 5 to 8 bucks.

    I heard their breakfast is good too, but I didn’t have a chance to try it yet

    Best coffee in New Seattle Seriously. The owner is so nice, and he knows what it takes to produce a delicious cup of coffee. The service is fast and the food is plentiful. There is so much to choose from the menu and everything I have tasted has been excellent. Breakfast sandwich on bagel is so yummy

    I love to come here for their Gyros plate. It comes with lots of gyros, rice, salad, hummus, baba ghannouj, and a pita bread. All this for around $8.

    And only gyros, try their coffee it tastes great and strong.

    If you love mediterranean food and you want a quick lunch, this is a definite place to check out in Belltown Seattle. It’s one block from cinerama, ramada inn hotel.
